Crowned With Laurel

Laureato covers the more than ten generations of the fictional Farnsworth family, with the book beginning with the eight year, more than just teasing for four years, then an actual affair Mrs. Rotelli has with her daughter’s boyfriend, Franklin Farnsworth, beginning in the summer after his 8th grade. The book goes on to chronicle Franklin’s post-college years, as a Naval Aviator, a fighter pilot, then his successful businesses career, and his entry into state politics, up through his mid-30s wonderful life.  The author has much to celebrate with the great life that he had with the family, where they have, over the decades, kept up with their older generations of family members, which has included having very enjoyable family gatherings. Cage’s parents worked hard to allow the four siblings to have a great spiritual upbringing and the best academic education, as well as for them to participate in many sports, from tennis to snow and water skiing to horseback riding and fox hunting, to other outdoor activities, dove, duck, quail, deer and turkey hunting as well as flying.
