Love Knows No Caste-A Heart Story

This book isnt about your usual boy meets girl story. This is your usual boy meets girl, falls in love, and loses her to social rules story. This story stars an Indian boy, Manu, and the girl he loves, Ammu. Like all good love stories, it also features a terrible antagonist. Except, the antagonist of this love story isnt evil, heartless villain right out of a typical Bollywood flick. Instead, it is the cruel and oppressive centuries-old caste system. It is the same system that has torn lovers apart successfully for ages. It is the same system that has given rise to prejudice, division, and hate  all of which continue to poison millions of lives to this day. It might surprise you, but this system, though old, is still very much in place, defended faithfully by its many supporters.
