The book is the product of Cleveland Huntleys research on disability awareness while pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy degree. He begins the book with an introduction to the Americans with Disabilities Act and why this is being considered a big deal in the Christian society. His objective for writing this book is to create awareness and sympathy for the needs of people that possess disabilities in Christian churches all over the world. Although the church pursues to address these issues by offering job training, health screenings, and various advising forms, it remains silent on encouraging a disability ministry. People affected by disability also have spiritual, emotional, and physical needs, and they want to be included in the church’s life. That is the most crucial fact to remember being the people of God.
The Worst Day of The Week
